2.1 GC Preparations

  1. Turn on carrier gas to GC.
  2. Turn on GC and insure that flows are appropriate for column size. (A capillary direct column into the MS should have only 1-2 mL/min.)
  3. Continue with Section 3 Warm Start: Starting from an Instrument Stand-by Condition/GC.
