Goal: To Provide High Quality, Affordable R&D ServicesDSB Scientific Consulting was founded in late 1999 with one purpose in mind: to conduct chemical reaction dynamics research financed not by government grant, but by selling R&D and other technical support services to small firms. The target client firms either lack full-time R&D staff or require support to existing staff on specialized projects. Since that time, profits have been invested back into the business which has allowed DSB consultants to explore their own research interests. DSB Scientific gets strength from a growing team of freelance consultants covering multiple disciplines: physical chemistry, computational chemistry, organic chemistry, mechanical engineering and polymer science. Additional contacts are held in such diverse fields as geochemistry and aerospace engineering. The focus for all consultants operating under the DSB Scientific umbrella is demonstrated integrity, proficiency and professionalism. The Proprietor and lead consultant, John S. Riley, maintains professional memberships in the American Chemical Society, the Americal Physical Society, Chemical Consultants Network and the South Carolina Academy of Science.
