These systems are designed for double duty to maximize value. Use as a small, headless, dedicated cluster; add a single KVM and use as a cluster of workstations. To use as individual workstations, add a KVM per node. As workstations, the dual core CPU's mean one (or more) CPU can be dedicated to background computation while the other(s) can be used for word processing, data analysis or any other user task. During off-hours, all CPU's can be dedicated to computation.
